qsba can be read as casbah, kasbah, qasbah, or قصبة and means old city in Arabic. It's in reference to the citadel in Algiers, Algeria.
qsba aims to create a sense of curiosty towards the Arabic language and North African culture - namely from el Maghreb (an Arabic term that refers to the Western part of the Arab world). These countries include Algeria, Morocco, the Western Sahara, Tunisia, Libya, and Egypt.
qsba is an awareness project and intends to evoke a sense of curiosity and conversation. qsba definitely isn't a for profit / profit-motivated business endeavour.
